Lago Nordenskjold- Torres del Paine National Park - Patagonia - Chile

The next morning we had time for one more hike, it was really windy and absolutely freezing, but sunny. The views were even more stunning than the day before.  It was otherworldly.
The first lake we came to was a black volcanic one, behind that you can see the amazing turquoise Lago Nordenskjold. It was an unbelievable sight.  The colours actually looked like this...infact the photos don't do it justice.
The 'Chilean Firebush' was in full bloom...

We loved this park, and it was such a pity we couldn't stay for longer...

  1. Fantastic photos, definitely a place I'd love to visit. You are missing all the snow here, it's pretty, but not as pretty as your recent pictures.
